so in one of my classes we were making moodboards, just pieces of paper with magazine cutouts that represent us pasted all over them and this guy i’ve never talked to leans over and he’s like ‘you’re gay, right’ and i’m like ‘…sort of?’ and he silently handed me a cutout of ellen degeneres and went back to his work
i still can’t comprehend the fact that the majority of humans can… actually control their bodies. they don’t have to blink 5 trillion times a minute, or jerk their eyes around, or or clench and unclench and clench all of their limbs, or twist their neck til they pull a muscle, or clear their throats til they’re raw and scratchy, and way more, all day, every day, nonstop, 24/7. tics are so weird when u think about them, but they’re just such a normal part of life that i can’t imagine not having them. i don’t think i’ve ever gone more than 10 minutes max without them. the fact that most ppl go their whole lives without them is… surreal
